PM regrets assault

Kathmandu, May 20:

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Sunday urged the agitating NFIN to come for talks.

He also condemned the attack made by bandh enforcers on media persons and their vehicles.

In a telephone conversation with chairman of the Federation of the Nepalis Journalists Shiva Gaunle, the Prime Minister regretted the attacks on the media persons and their vehicles.

He also assured that the government would provide compensation to the damaged vehicles of the media houses.
