Nepal is going to take part in the 5th Children of Asian Sports Games slated from July 4-16 in Sakha Republic, Yakutia of Russia.
The women’s basketball team will represent Nepal in the Games, said the press statement released by the Nepal Olympic Committee, headed by Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan on Tuesday.
The 13-member team will take part in the Games. The basketball coach Purna Bahadur Neupane will lead as the team manager.
Squad: Pratiskha Pun, Aakriti Pun Magar Yobana Karki, Jenisha Gurung, Sujita Thapa, Sonika Lama Thing, Tshering Ongmu Sherpa, Sunita Gurung, Sudeshna Lama, Sujina Pariyar, Denisha Singh and Pushpa Ale.
